Hiding clutter

Hiding Clutter

In a small apartment, you may not have the storage area to put your cleaning utensils and gadgets. But every apartment has a corner, what best way to hide your clutter, then using a bookshelf. I went to IKEA to purchase the cheapest bookshelf I can find which amounted to $29.99. Of course, you can find the bookshelf for a better bargain using apps like offer up, let go or even facebook marketplace. The price for the bookshelf range from $5 to $45 but make sure to check your sources before buying. The best time to find the bookshelf on these apps were in January and August it is the highest move out months in my location. Find out base on your locations the highest moveout dates to get deals in your area.

I decided that my bookshelf was going to be used as a statement piece for my home. I guess why not place my greatest achievement using a bookshelf. What I was really doing was hiding the mess in the back, while keeping the party in the front. The color theme for my home is Gray, black, and white and the common texture use is wood. I guess I would describe my style as a bit contemporary, farmhouse, shabby chic. (Please help me out here) Using the color white in a small space makes it look more open, clean, and makes it feel larger. Finding the right placement for your furniture will also help make your place feel larger and giving each space a designated area. The primary objective is to use up each corner in your home to your best advantage when living in a small apartment.
